The Californian Smoothie (Avocado-Berry Smoothie)

Serves: 2 People

Ingredients

  • 1/2 avocado (ripe, peeled and pitted)
  • 1 cup raspberries (frozen, about 4 ounces)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (about 4 ounces)
  • dates (pitted, about 1 ounce)
  • 1 cup almond milk (whole milk or unsweetened, such as Silk brand)
  • 1 tbsp honey

  • Optional Boosters:
  • Flax seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • Hemp Seeds

  • Preparation

  • Add avocado, raspberries, strawberries, dates, milk, and honey to the jar of a blender. Turn blender to low and blend until roughly pureed, about 30 seconds. Gradually increase speed to high and blend until smooth, about 1 minute longer. Serve and ENJOY.
